This book does an excellent job of showing what it would be like to be the first fat woman on a reality dating show. So if you’re looking for that, excellent.
If you’re looking for an escapist rom com featuring a fat woman, this is not the book.
It’s certainly relatable, in terms of how Bea feels about her body, and it’s very emotional -I viscerally felt every instance of fatphobia and body shame so do with that what you will.
Somewhat emotionally fulfilling. And there are many many good funny moments. Enjoyable for the most part, even if it wasn’t what I was looking for.
