I requested this book on Libby before I read In My Dreams I Hold A Knife or I probably would have never requested it. (If you’ll remember I didn’t like it at all.) While this book is better it’s still not that great. I just don’t enjoy this author. Honestly I felt like this was a cross between a bad soap opera and a YA book. I wanted to quit several times but I was intrigued enough to want to know the ending. I didn’t find the characters relatable at all. I didn’t like Shay which didn’t help. The only person I did like was Jamie the podcaster.
