Turtles All the Way Down
by John Green
emotional
hopeful
fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
A mix
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Yes
I thought this was a powerful glimpse into the mind of someone who has OCD and anxiety and the struggles they might go through socially and spatially.
I thought some parts of the plot were rushed/glossed over a little bit and seemed like they were afterthoughts, but as always, John's character work is top tier. I loved the itty bitty flash forward the last chapter offered without it being a true epilogue; I found it to be clever.

Graphic: Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders
