informative slow-paced

Listened to this book as an audiobook. After finishing, I'm not quite sure I could have read this book physically.
No tell made some interesting inquiries about the idea of nostalgia and the rise in the want to believe and hold on to things that often lead to our inability to let go of things. I can see her background with cult and cult ish behavior as a study show up in some of the most interesting parts of the book. There were some more basic discussions on cognitive bias which I didn't feel I got as much out of but could be good for someone new to the topic.

Some parts of this novel felt some disconnect and jumping of topics which made it feel difficult to be succint as a novel on a whole.

It took me a long time to get through this book but I got some good insight so I feel okay about reading this book overall
