Black Like Me
by John Howard Griffin
Very powerful. We are all humans. The human psyche cannot see it any other way when you are completely faced with the reality of the mundane similarities that connect us all. This book does not try to grandstand. It shows how utter alien life was between two groups of people, who lived so close together, all because of pigment.
