While I am not a vegan, I bought this for a friend as a birthday present and then got so interested that I bought myself a copy. I like how she talks about her decisions, is not judging anyone for their choices and is only trying to get her view across in a very friendly and honest way. While I do eat meat very occasionally so I do not call myself a vegetarian or vegan I found the book really helpful. Although alot of it does not apply to Australia as we have tighter restrictions on things like free range eggs being certified and organic produce in general. It is a very worthy read whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian or a vegan. Two thumbs up for Alicia!
