“For this to be the twilight of your life, though your life has barely started.”
So here’s the thing, it’s just too long. Genuinely it is insanely long and unnecessarily so! I enjoyed the parts of the original story where we figure out where Edward goes when he’s not with Bella but the novel was largely a retelling with everyones thoughts, which could honestly be equated to just an annotated version of the original book. All that to say though, I would have been significantly less irritated by Bella in the first book had I known that the pining was so mutual. I knew Edward was into her but I did not feel the YEARN thats described in midnight sun. I don’t know how to feel about this and I don’t know if I recommend this but alas here is my review.
