I almost love Gibsie as much as I love Joey—almost! using humour as a coping mechanism ugh my heart </3 and Claire is a literal ball of sunshine so fierce and protective and I adore her! I love the will they—won’t they tension between the two they have my heart. But romance aside, it wouldn’t be a boys of tommen book if I didn’t cry—which I did again reading this one LOL. Five stars for sure, I hate that I don’t have the second half of their story in my hands agh! but I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book - and for the record I do think despite everything, lizzie is deeply misunderstood and I can’t bring myself to dislike her. I loved seeing more of Hughie, Joey and Aiofe in this book and my beloveds Johnny and Shannon! I love these characters so much I never want their stories to be over!
