When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller
2.0

Story with themes of love, grief, loss, sisterhood and family, but the stories of Korean folklore wrapped up in it were muddled and confusing for me. Coming to terms with grief was valuable, but never really did feel clear on themes surrounding stories and tiger. Liked idea that stories are meant to be shared, but didn’t love the way it came together (or for me, didn’t).

Includes death and gay relationship - probably best for those over 10.
