The Rosie Project
by Graeme Simsion
Don Tillman is a professor of genetics at an Australian university and lives a very regimented life. As he approaches forty, he sets out on mission to find a wife using very scientific methods. When a friend sets him up with a woman named Rosie who seems wrong in many ways, his life is turned upside down.
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters and the story was sweet and funny. It's a little as if Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory falling in love and the results are both poignant and hilarious. It's not going to win any literary prizes, but it will make you smile.
