Those Who Save Us
by Jenna Blum
Excellent historical fiction novel of a German woman and the great lengths she goes to in order to protect her daughter, as well as the great lengths the daughter goes to in order to learn about her past. The novel switches between Nazi Germany (mother's story) and Minnesota in the 90s (daughter's story), and I really liked the mother's story a lot more.
One very minor aspect of the book that I did not like is the author did not include quotation marks when writing dialogue/conversations. Still a great read though.
