I almost put this book down because the hero was so awkward that it was making me uncomfortable. The fact that I felt his anxiety so keenly is probably a testament to the author's skill. Once I got past my discomfort and adjusted to the fact that this was a romance written completely from the male's point of view, I enjoyed the story. I really felt the tension of the big event toward the end, and I found myself wishing that there was another story in that animation world.
