azita 's review for:
In Cold Blood
by Truman Capote
I am so glad that this book is finished. It bored me to death. I only began it because I was listening to On the Road audiobook and then I came across Capote's quote about how Kerouac's book was not writing but typing and since I was more or less of the same opinion, I thought let's read something by Capote and see where I stand in this. Well, In Cold Bood was a big disappointment. Pompous and long, it delivered a very insubstantial content. I finally had to set the audiobook to 1.5 times the normal speed to avoid dozing off due to its monotony. Not a good experience at all.
