I love Mhairi McFarlane's writing style. She is so clever and funny, I've enjoyed every book I've read from her. This one was probably the least romance-centric book. There is a bit of a romantic sub-plot, but the vast majority of the book is Harriet dealing with the fallout from her last relationship, and some baggage from her past that resurfaces. I really liked the emphasis on female friendships in this book, as well as just general female-solidarity.

Overall, another great book by Mhairi McFarlane!
