A Groom of One's Own by Emma S. Clair

5.0

Loved this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud sweet romance!

Eli is an adorable gentleman with a flirty side and spontaneous, impulsive behavior. A marriage of convenience was perfect for him and totally believable. St. Clair paired him well with the quiet, animal loving Bailey who truly has no one left in her corner. Watching these two fall in love was simply fun and cute! Also, truly loved the all the secondary characters from the Appies team members to Eli's family and his mom's hilarious book club members. Overall, a great weekend read that was impossible to put down.

Content and Triggers: PG. A few uses of mild profanity (seeing this more in sweet romance and wishing this author had avoided it), post-marriage fade to black scene (nothing descriptive or uncomfortable).
