This finished trilogy has been on my TBR for awhile and for some reason I was not expecting a paranormal fantasy romance! I am very pleasantly surprised! I love this book still has a very complex and intricate world and magic system with some modern technology sprinkled in. It does not distract from the fantasy for me at all! The world gives me a bit of Harry Potter meets Gossip Girl vibes in all the best ways! And the romance! It's messy, it's sweet, it's spicy...I'm here for it! I also really appreciate all the queer representation and how the author handles healing from trauma. Please do check your trigger warnings! So excited to dive into book 2!
