What a big fat disappointment of enemies to lovers idk if it’s because I hate him or because I fucking hate him. Book men are meant to restore your faith in real men for even a little bit but not this asshole
I was so excited for their book because they seemed so good in the other two I really thought it was gonna be a good enemies to lovers yh no don’t get your hopes up if you don’t want to be royally disappointed
He’s absolutely good for nothing apart from his fat wallet which I don’t even want at this point and he’s just not hot like no matter how much you try and sell him to me, shit can’t be sold
Why I hate him with a burning furry:
1. Him pathetically blaming her for calling the police for 30 years. He was literally in a death fight with his abusive dad and she could hear the ruckus and banging and smashing next door so calling 911 was the most logical thing considering the dad was swinging a knife around which he used to stab both his wife and son. Someone was literally gonna die but no let’s hold a grudge against her for the deeds of a crooked cop that arrested the wrong person. Like bitch it was 6 days in jail and then you were bailed out by her family how on gods green earth was it her fault that a crooked cop was fishing buddies with your dad
