This caught me so off guard. I knew I would like it- Simple (not a knock) but compelling enough premise of a bit of a nomad FMC gets a temporary job at MMC’s pub. This is a slow burn. Not just with the romance but with how deep and heartwarming the plot and serious subplots twist. After the 70% it’s so emotional!! I was not prepared! In the best way.

The mental health rep in this is everything. There’s no quick fixes and as much as you may want certain things to happen, it stays realistic and it makes it all the deeper for it. The Ireland setting and the side characters are also 5 stars. I loved the main characters together. They have banter, they flirt. And yes you have to wait for it but there’s really good open door spice in this too. But also cuteness that will have you kicking your feet.
