The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

3.0

I genuinely enjoyed about half of this book. I didn't want to put it down for the first 200 pages. And then it began to drag.

By the 300 page mark the pace picked up again, along with an OMGWTF revelation that made me want to keep reading to the end. In hindsight, I realize that that revelation was essentially the entire plot. The book keeps promising that "something is starting" and it keeps promising that all the way to the end.

The book does a sort of interpretive dance ending. All strange and abstract and dramatic. And to be honest, I'm still confused as shit.
