Right Behind You by Lisa Gardner

This is a crime drama with great themes of family, secrets, and trust. It is a continuation of a Quincy and Rainie series but can be read as a standalone. I never read the other books. Quincy and Rainie have a foster daughter, Sharyla that they are adopting. She comes from a traumatic past and has a host of psychological issues. Suddenly, her brother, Telly, is implicated in the murder of his foster parents. What follows is a fast pace criminal drama involving profiling, tracking, and forensics. I really enjoyed this and would read more by this author.
