This book was everything I hoped it would be and more. The banter between Riggs and Monroe was perfection. And then the spice between them? Good lord 🥵

There was never any denying the chemistry and tension between these two though. And they always say there's a fine line between love and hate. And Riggs and Monroe definitely toe that line. Especially the longer they live together. I loved that while they both kind of shied away from being in a relationship, it didn't stop either of them from caring about one another.

I also loved the way Riggs matured throughout this book. I can't talk a lot about this or else it'll ruin the third act, but I was proud of him, and CL Rose, for not cheapening their growth by handling the situation in any other way.

The last thing I'll say about Riggs? We love a bad boy, but sometimes we love a good boy even more 😉

Wild Pitch is out this Thursday (10/24), and trust me, you smutty book lovers will want to read this one!! Thank you CL Rose for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
