The book follows the pov of many characters without necessarily following the same storyline, which is not a bad thing, but it makes it slower pace and harder to connect with the characters. Inevitably I compared to the show, it is the same premise but very different execution. The glass-luke storyline is completely new, and I’m interested in it; hopefully they make it. Clarke-wells dynamic was a bit unexpected; he definitely plays a bigger role in the books, and I’m curious where it will take us. Bellamy is so flirty and protective, I love it :)
In terms of the word building, the books delve more into the life in the Colony (not the Arc apparently) and power dynamics between sections.
