Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates

challenging dark informative slow-paced

2.0

I'm really trying to read more non-fiction, and am enjoying getting into the habit of reading further about topics that interest me. This was a very difficult read in subject matter, I think that's probably why it took me so long to finish. I found the last couple of chapters particularly interesting / worrying as Bates discussed the place of misogyny in schools, and really how little we do to tackle it. I would definitely recommend this book, though I think I'm unlikely to re-read it.
