"I am beyond joy or misery now. All things pass. That is the only truth I have encountered in all the days I've spent in this cold hell of a world of so-called "humans." All things pass."

This book is so interesting to me because it neither made me feel miserable in life nor relief that I DIDN'T feel like this. It felt simply like an observation of how tormented one's soul can truly be, whether put in the best or worst conditions.

That being said, in regards to translation, I'm obviously not qualified to make any criticisms on it. However, the language used was sure beautiful. It was sometimes hard to understand what EXACTLY was happening, but whether that's in the translation or embedded in the book/original language itself is still once again beyond me.

I didn't hate the book nor did I love it, I just simply read it.
