This was such a lovely adaptation of a beloved classic story. The artwork was beautiful with a unique style. The vibrancy and saturation of the artwork increased as the book went on and as Mary comes out of her fog of grief and begins to heal and flourish along with her garden and cousin. This particular adaptation captured Mary and Colin's depression and loneliness well. Despite their immaturity they are still endearing and loveable characters surrounded by people with the patience to allow them to grow and change.
