The Grumpy Billionaire by Annika Martin
4.0
ARC review 4.5 stars
This book is a hot and entertaining romance that shows the love, loyalty, and forbidden desires of the workplace in Wall Street.
The book follows one of the most feared men on Wall Street, a math genius, Hugo, with walls strong enough to withhold a demolishing. However, one person is able to crack those walls, Stella his best friend's little sister whom he made a promise to never date, but things change when she starts working for him.
I loved how they were total opposites, yet fit each other perfectly. The grumpiness is challenged by the sunshine that is Stella. Hugo is a complete perfectionist and Stella takes the leap without looking first. The tension between the two is beautifully written. I loved the growth between them as a couple and them as individuals. However, at the end Stella did annoy me by how she treated Hugo and how she didn't take accountability for her part. Overall, I loved this book and will be reading more by this author.
