There is no way not to be taken in by the sagacity, perspicacity and most importantly calm that characterizes Miss Marple. Her quiet demeanor only equals the implacable clarity of her problem solving skills. This book presents thirteen mysteries a group of friends and acquaintances share each at a time, asking the others to find the solution. Of course Miss Marple is the one who, as the keen observer of human nature that she is, has it right every time. A book for anyone who likes this Agatha Christie classic character or wants to get acquainted with her style.
