Disappointingly Short.
Unfortunately while the book is well written and clear to the average reader, it just doesn't have enough in it. For a book that covers nearly 2000+ years of history, a short one hour read doesn't seem to be enough. This book hits the wave tops of Greek civil history without truly going in depth at all. Would recommend this book as quick preface to actually studying ancient Greek history.
