Wow. This book took me a LONG while to get through, and that is not because it wasn’t good but because every single section made me shake with rage. Such an important read for parents, teachers, doctors, and anyone else who regularly interacts with children and families. I love Sole Smith’s work, but at many points I didn’t need as much of her opinion because the facts themselves are shocking enough to stand alone. This is one I will be buying and handing out to friends and family for years to come. Required reading.
