Kristin Canary knocked it out of the park with this new series starter Beachside Kisses With My Bodyguard! As soon as I started reading I could not put it down and finished it way too quickly! I am already counting down to the next book and this one hasn't even officially released yet. This book is amazing and I know the entire series will be as well!
This has everything I want in a romcom book from depth of character, to heavier moments, to moments that make me laugh out loud and finally *and most importantly* the swooniest moments ever!
Frederick is an absolutely amazing guy through and through! I love that he is such a protective hero who just wants to not only keep Chloe safe, but also wants what is best for her. I love that he falls first and that there is that element of forbidden love since Chloe is his best friend's sister (and not even allowed since he is a bodyguard).
Chloe is a character that I just want to adopt into my friend circle. She is seriously the sweetest person ever who you just know your day will be brighter because she is around. I love that she is the sunshine to Frederick's subtle grumpiness.
I love the nicknames they give each other and that they are forced into a fake relationship that helps them overcome insecurities that would have typically kept them apart. I love the small town that this book is set in and totally would visit if I could! The secondary characters are amazing and I cannot for this series to continue with Chloe's new friend group!
If you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, swoon and just erupt in butterflies with all the sweet things that Frederick says to Chloe read this book!
