I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first, and that’s primarily due to the audio narrator. The portrayal of the police detective was loud, harsh, and shrill. I had to turn the volume down anytime she was in a scene.
The story itself was intriguing. I do enjoy the relationship between Hawthorne and Horowitz. I feel like several things were left open to explore in future books.
