First off, the only things this book had in common with The Hunger Games and Squid Game is that this is a dystopian, and that there's a tv show involved. That's it.

This book began promising, and I really wanted to like it, but it became an unfocused mess the closer you got to the end.
The portal mirrors, the abuse the directors put the actors through and the life of people outside of Snowglobe and how unfair that is, are all afterthoughts  Because suddenly, there are clones, and that's the main focus? Not the way I thought this book was gonna go lol
There's no mention of an uprising or wanting to really change all that much about how people are currently living. Reading the synopsis for the second book, it seems unlikely those themes will play a huge roll there. I'm not sure if I want to continue this duology, unfortunately.
