This was a collection of short stories that bordered on horror and surrealism. I liked them, and my favorites were "Our Lady of the Quarry," "Meat," and "Back When We Talked to the Dead."
A warning to those who want to read this collection: one of the stories near the end did refer to trans people using a deragotary term, I'm not sure if this was due to the translation or if it were intentional. These stories were explicit, with mentions of sex, gore, blood, violence, etc
