Bullying, Mental Illness, Child Death, Sexual assault, Suicidal thoughts, Panic Attacks, Child abuse
Review:
The first thing I want to say about this book was that I was not the target audience for it. While being an amazing read for an early adolescent, It didn't tick all the boxes I wanted/expected it to. Being a huge fan of Japanese Literature, I feel like this book could've used a lot more substance, the substance being violence maybe? or something devastating? The 'plot twists' were namesake and dull. This being said, this is definitely still an amazing book for the people it was actually written for.
