Once Ghosted, Twice Shy by Alyssa Cole
3.0
This was very enjoyable. Cute characters, cute idea. It was quick and fun. That being said I felt pretty bleh about it, not getting to invested in the characters. I think if we had a little more time with the characters and focused more on their chemistry instead of just their story I would have enjoyed it more.
Spoiler Thoughts:
So they did have a sort of insta love thing going on which is not my favorite, but I think it was done okay. I think its fine when characters think that they are in love right off the batt its just really off putting when they start saying I love you and acting like they've been in love for years after 3 days of knowing each other. That didnt happen here, they had time to think about it, and even doubt of the idea which felt healthy.
Although I liked the characters I didn't really care for them. I think its because It felt more like I was being told what happened instead of actually experiencing it. I think that is the reason why I didn't love the book in general.
