Dracula
by Bram Stoker
This classic was much better than I thought! As a true horror book/ movie goer, I really liked the way the novel was written and with entries from journals/diaries. With the focus first on Jonathan Harker who escapes the Count’s castle then on Mina and Abraham Van Helsing as the Count arrives in London, the eerie journey puts the background of vampires and a journey to save souls to life! With tales of the Demeter, Renfield and Van Helsing the historical context of Dracula is enchanting.
