This story is so different from anything I’ve read. Sci fi, queer. The use of pronouns is amazing and interesting.
I didn’t like the intermissions personally. They felt unnecessary. And almost like the story couldn’t carry itself without them.
And I’m not fond of books having multiple endings. This one had two. BUT. They were both good and well executed, so it’s forgiven.
Misery is a deeply complicated and flawed character and I loved reading about her journey and cannot wait to read more.
