This not a recent release but it is timely. The last 2 years (approx.) have left so many people isolated and anxious to the degree that many seem to struggle with sustained focus. I think many of us have turned to high levels of digital distraction to the degree that it could be harmful. This book really opened my eyes to the down side of too much digital engagement (impact on focus) and gave some concrete recommendations on how to get your concentration back in your control, critical for those who work in a knowledge-based profession. It is a little bit research, a little bit self-help and very applicable to the modern day experience of the knowledge worker. I'd recommend it to anyone struggling for tactics and explanations about the challenge to get and stay organized (mentally) and focused.
