Verity by Colleen Hoover

I don't remember ever binging a book like I did with this one!
It has left a deep mark inside me, what a master piece, I don't even know where to begin, but I didn't want to leave for another day or I'll loose some of the adrenaline rush this story has triggered.

Lowen is a writer, not a famous one because he suffers from social anxiety. She gets hired to finish the series of another writer who was involved in a car accident, Verity.

I don't know what was I expecting but I know for sure it wasn't what I received, a rush of emotions that from time to time made me clench my jaw and tense every muscle, every page I read made desperate to read the next.

..."And this is why I stay home and write. I think the idea of me is better than the reality of me"...

If that doesn't allow you to understand the state of mind of a character I don't know what would. And you get to know them, all of them. Even April, you get to understand the personality of each one of them as the story progresses. And what a touch it was to a book within a book.

..."Some families are lucky enough to never experience a single tragedy. But then there are those families that seem to have tragedies waiting in the back burner. What can go wrong, goes wrong. And then it gets worse."...

Just mind blowing...

I can't wait to read another story by Colleen and I even feel lucky that I was able to read this one.
