I almost gave up on this book but I am so glad I didn't. It took me about 1/3 of the way into the book to start to connect with the storyline. Ultimately it was a beautiful and gentle book that had lines that I will keep in my notes to refer back to. One of my favorites was "swimming is the reset button, swimming starts the day again" This came at the perfect time because I am trying to start swimming again! It absolutely captures how I feel about the water. And there were multiple lines like that thorughout the book that resonated.
