Such a good book. Hard hitting at times. April’s love for the polar bear is so heartwarming. This book delves into global warming and climate change. Also into the protection of our planet and animals. The icy scene is set well and you really feel like you are right there with April and the bear. This is a great book for kids to show them the affect we are having on this planet and the little things we can do to help. It is well written and I would highly recommend it. Just prepare for your heart strings to be tugged at the end.
