Such a cute book! I wanted a break from the dark stuff I was reading, and this was perfect for it. The beginning was a bit boring but once the game commenced it became much more interesting. The author made it really obvious that Neil liked Rowan from the start, so the rivalry could've been portrayed better and the writing felt a bit plain and too straightforward, especially the dialogues. It tried to touch deeper subjects too while being so positive about it, I liked that! It was interesting how the story revolved around Seattle. And the romance novels subplot thing validated all of my feelings about them lol
