If I could give this book 1,000⭐️, I would. Absolutely loved it. I was privileged enough to receive an ARC of the book, and loved it then, but the audiobook version brings it to life even more. This is not only a very swoony romance, it also takes time to address bad choices and grievous consequences, how everyone deals with trauma, grief, and pain in very different ways. It’s about the fear of being perceived and how there are those happy to make you small to make themselves bigger. I cried numerous times. Author became an insta-buy.
