Apparently if I don't like any of the characters, I like the book a lot less. Well I was neutral to most of the characters - though I liked Harry when he was with Lowen and I liked Lowen some. And I liked the alien diplomat talking to little kids at the churro cart. But otherwise I thought the book weaker then it should have been. Perhaps because it was written as independent stories. Still not bad, just not great.
