Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for granting me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

What a fun, cute romance that has your friends to lovers trope that is set around country music! It is filled with angst, tension, banter, chemistry, and wonderful secondary characters! Unfortunately, it does have the miscommunication trope that drives me completely insane. I just wish they could have talked to each other like mature adults. However, the author does do an amazing job at making the characters feel so real and relatable and you cannot help but root for them. Once I started reading I could not stop until I finished it! This is my first read by Erin Hahn and it will not be my last! Now I want to go back and read her other books. 🥰🥰

Lorelai Jones, the female main lead, is the sweetheart of country music and seems to have it all. When she decides to perform a political song at a concert, her entire future is ruined. The only person who is there for her is Craig Huckleberry Boseman"Huck" and they spend one night together before she disappears to start her life over. Five years later, Lorelai is attempting her music career again with her long time best friend Huck supporting her. Presently, they are spending a lot of time together in the studio and living in really close proximity. Huck has always been in love with Lorelai but can he keep his true feelings about her to himself? Does Lorelai only see him as a good friend or could there possibly be more? Friends don't fall in love or do they?

Overall, I throughly enjoyed this swoon-worthy love story that has a HEA. If you love a sweet friends to lovers trope, guy falls first and country music then this book is for you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
