"...Didn’t particularly want to be murdered today. I was wearing my good jeans."

Been waiting for this one to come out, and man I missed reading about this world and characters!

Also-I just want to say that I still love Pet's humor- and I'm glad that some of the side characters are getting some more background.

So, there was a lot going on in this one- we have Pet back at home with the Psychos- and its nice to see the balance is a little bit more....balanced in their relationships. Pet has more of a voice in the group and input into their cases- which is where this book starts off.

After trying to keep her distance to protect her friend Morgana. Pet is pulled back into her life after being asked to help track down her missing internet friend. They met through a mysterious game called City Fae that is a little to familiar for comfort- and has too much info to be just a regular video game.

Armed with this knowledge Team Psycho is pulled in a lot of different directions- from the Golden Fae, to possible Family Ties, and other outside groups all having an angle in this mystery.

However, we still have familiar and frustrating mysteries to question- such as what happened to Pet's parents, whats going on with her house, whats the mad ole bloke up to, and what is the killer from book one up to (STILL!) Yeah so a lot going on
SpoilerNot to mention whats going on with Morgana and her house- but at least we got that mystery solved in this one- even if was a bit painful for Pet in the end

But also still love me some sassy Pet.

“But after all, I shouldn’t wish to interfere with that charming insouciance of yours, so consider yourself free to ignore my advice.” I gazed at him for a few moments, then said, “Don’t you threaten me with the consequences of my actions.”
