Bardugo's books are an experience of sorts, and i thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Where I'd agree that the story could've done better with another revision to improve the plot pacing and to develop the main couple's connection with the readers, I don't agree with the overly negative reviews of this book. It was immersive, it was fun, it was way better than anything I've read from new writers.
Another thing i wish was better/more worked on was...Hualit. Hualit was such an amazing full-of-potential character but i felt that her story line wasn't executed properly. I wanted more of her in the middle. 🤧
I love the themes that Bardugo chooses to write on and i can't wait to read more of her works!
