I liked the premise of the book, but not how it was executed. In some ways it seemed to glorify abusive relationships, and in others it vilified them. It sent very mixed signals in this respect, and for me glorifying abusive relationships in any way is a huge pass. I also don't understand spoiling the mystery of her being Hercules on the back description...if it was going to be a twist saved for the end of the book, then it shouldn't be the name of the book. I wanted to like this and hung on til the end to see if there was some twist that somehow made everything okay, but really it just made it worse.
