What an amazing debut novel from Lana Black! What happens when you're life sucks and you're at the wrong place at the wrong time? Jade finds that out the hard way, on her birthday of all days.
Living with her deadbeat parents and abusive boyfriend, Jade's life isn't the best. She's forced to go out and cash her birthday check to buy booze for her parents. What's worse, her terrible boyfriend Eddie sends her out in the shortest dress, sky-high heels, and refuses to let her put on panties...and makes her walk the whole way. Stopping at a coffee shop for a quick birthday drink, she finds herself being harassed by two men on the street, but two other men come to her aid.
