This one was so ridiculously creepy and gave off an odd sci-fi feeling at times even though this is clearly a suspense thriller.
You definitely need to suspend disbelief when you read this one, but it's still enjoyable and I was intrigued by the story.
This story was laid out a little differently than other MHC books I've read. This time we met the killer and then followed law enforcement's investigation of a murder that was committed by the killer. It was interesting and felt fresh. This story also went in a completely different direction than I was expecting.
Other than the ridiculous unbelievable elements, this was an enjoyable read. If you like super creepy thrillers that make you slightly uncomfortable, this is the book for you.
